We’ve been asked what the difference between a Virtual Tour, 3D Matterport and a Video Tour is so we thought it would be a great time to write about it!
VIRTUAL TOUR
A Virtual Tour (in our industry) is a collection of images presented in a slideshow format that has additional features to along with it such as a Walk Score, Google Map and School information.

3D MATTERPORT TOUR
A 3D Matterport tour is where we take a 360 camera and take multiple shots and then stitch them together to form a “walk through” tour. With these tours, you can jump from point to point and see the ceiling, floors, you can “turn around” – almost as if you’re actually IN the house.

VIDEO TOUR
A Video Tour is where we come in with a video camera, walk through the property, go back to our office and edit it into a video that you watch.
